Dr Shadab Falahtafti
MD, FRACGP
I’m Shadab. I’m a GP and have spent most of my career caring for people in the Bayside and Peninsula areas. I’ve been lucky to meet and work with so many wonderful families along the way.
Becoming a mum has definitely shaped the way I practise. It’s given me a deeper understanding of what families go through and strengthened my focus on women’s and children’s health. I also enjoy supporting patients with chronic conditions and helping older adults stay healthy and independent.
At BAYMED, I want every patient to feel truly at ease and cared for from the moment they step through our doors. My aim is to make it easy for you to ask questions, feel reassured, and know that your health and wellbeing are always our top priority.
Dr Mehdi Fouladi
MD, FRACGP, Accredited Skin Cancer Dr(SCCA)
I’m Mehdi. I’ve been a GP for more than 15 years, and Bayside has been home for just as long. My wife, Shadab—who’s also a GP here—and our son and daughter are part of this wonderful community. Watching our kids grow up in Bayside has made me feel even more connected to the families I look after.
In my work, I enjoy caring for all aspects of general practice. I’ve also completed advanced training in skin cancer medicine, dermoscopy, and both minor and complex skin cancer surgery. I’m passionate about providing thorough skin checks and guiding patients through their skin cancer care in a way that feels clear, supportive, and stress-free.
I founded BAYMED Family Medical Centre and Skin Cancer Clinic in the Cheltenham hub to create a place that feels truly approachable and welcoming—a space where you and your family feel cared for and supported. Our aim is not only to take care of your general practice needs, but also to make it easy to connect with other health professionals all in one centre, so your care is connected, smooth, and stress-free . We want everyone to feel confident that they will be listened to, understood, and looked after at every step.
